So, around 2004-05 I suffered a rotator cuff injury in my right shoulder during a sparring session and years later I injured my right knee to a point that I couldn’t walk, my knee would buckle and the swelling was horrible…

I became NESTA certified as an MMA Conditioning Coach. 

Before becoming a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practicioner and MMACC certified, I came from a martial arts background where I trained in Taekwon-Do, Kempo Karate, Modern Arnis and Jeet Kune Do.

On top of that, I’ve been involved in fitness and weight lifting, sporratically since high school.. 

Then, in 2019, I packed up my bags and drove to Coconut Creek, Florida, to intern for a month at American Top Team with their then-top strength and conditioning coach, Phil Daru.

Time commitment: Time commitment: I'm not sure I have enough time to commit to the program.

I've condensed this program to only 30-40 minutes per day, 4x per week. That way it gives you time to recover, practice your bjj and or do other things that you enjoy.

Existing injuries: I have an existing injury that I'm worried about aggravating.

Difficulty level: I'm a beginner in BJJ, and I'm concerned that the program might be too advanced for me.

Do not worry, I've created this program specifically designed for a beginner like yourself. The tri-phasic system will take you in a linear progression. Starting with simpler exercises and progressing to those that require higher skill leve. 

Equipment requirements: Do I need access to a fully-equipped gym to complete the program?

For this program, I tried to keep it to a minimum, basically all you will need is a barbel or dumbells, body weight, resistance band and a kettlebell. 

Coach Credentials: What are the qualifications and experience of the program's creator?

I'm a NESTA Certified MMA Conditioning Coach with years of weight lifting experience. I've also interned with world famous Phil Daru at American Top Team where I assisted Phil in training figthers who come from UFC, Bellator, Once FC and other top tier fighting organisations.

Online format: I prefer in-person training; can I still benefit from an online program?

Yes you can. Though, I can't be there in person, you'll have access to video library that will demonstrate exercises, workout sheet with reps, tempos and intensity so that you can do it on your own. However, if you don't feel confident enough in doing this on your own, hireing a personal trainer to help you become familiar and more confident in executing exercises would be a better option for you, before starting this program.
